Ένας από τους πρωτοπόρους της σύγχρονης ελληνικής κεραμικής, ένας από τους ανθρώπους που θαυμάζω και εκτιμώ απεριόριστα. Στον μικρό παράδεισο του , ανεξάντλητη πηγή έμπνευσης δημιουργει έργα κυρίως μεγάλης κλίμακας. Ευχαριστούμε 🙏! Today we had the great honour to visit the house and workshop of Manousos Chalkiadakis! One of the pioneers of modern Greek ceramics, an artist i deeply respect and admire. In his paradise land, an inspiring location he creates his big scale artwork. Thank you 🙏
  • Άλλη μια ηλιόλουστη μέρα, στο ανάκτορο της Φαιστού αυτή τη φορά. Πάντα συγκλονιστικές οι φυσικές θέσεις των ανακτόρων. Έδω οι αποκαταστάσεις υπάρχουν αλλά είναι λιγότερο έντονες. Προφανές το μεγαλείο από τους πολλαπλούς υπουργούς χώρους και τις αποθήκες με τα τεράστια αγγεία που αγαπάμε πολύ! Another glorious day, this time in Phestos palace. The natural positioning of Minoan Palaces is always extremely beautiful. Restorations here are more shuttle that yesterday.   • Ένα υπέροχο πρωινό στο ανάκτορο της Κνωσού. Μέσα σε μαγική φύση ένας αριστουργηματικός αρχαιολογικός χώρος εξαιρετικής σημασίας. Η ανάπτυξη κι ο πλούτος των Μινωιτων προφανής! Για την αποκατάσταση (με σύγχρονα υλικά) οι ενστάσεις πολλές και συμφωνώ. Πάντως ένα αποκατεστημένη μνημείο είναι πολύ πιο εύκολα κατανοητό στο μέσο επισκέπτη (αν αυτός είναι ο στόχος)! A splendid morning in the palace of Knossos. In the beautiful Cretan nature, a beautiful archaeological site of the highest importance. The wealth and achievements of Minoans are easy to see. About the restoration (with concrete and modern materials) there is a lot of criticism and I agree.
