  • Animal Rites Ομαδική έκθεση κεραμικής Έργο 16 «Η Φωλιά των Πουλιών» είναι ένα κεραμικό δοχείο που δημιουργήθηκε στο πλαίσιο της έκθεσης *Animal Rights (Ritual)*. Μέσα από μια αφαιρετική αισθητική με επιρροές Art Deco, το έργο εξερευνά τη συμβολική σχέση ανάμεσα στα ζώα, τη φύση και την ανθρώπινη φαντασία. Το έργο απεικονίζει πουλιά μεταμορφωμένα σε μια ρυθμική σύνθεση — μια ισορροπία ανάμεσα στην προστασία, την κίνηση και το τελετουργικό στοιχείο. Εμπνευσμένο από τη γεωμετρική κομψότητα του Art Deco και τον διαχρονικό συμβολισμό των πουλιών, το έργο αναφέρεται στις έννοιες της κατοικίας, της ασφάλειας και της εύθραυστης σύνδεσης ανάμεσα στα έμβια όντα και το περιβάλλον τους. Η φωλιά μετατρέπεται σε κάτι περισσότερο από έναν χώρο γέννησης και επιβίωσης· γίνεται ένας συμβολικός τόπος — μια υπενθύμιση της ανάγκης να σεβόμαστε και να προστατεύουμε την παρουσία, τη φωνή και τα δικαιώματα των ζώων στον κοινό μας κόσμο.   • «Animal Rites» Ομαδική έκθεση κεραμικής Έργο 8 «Συνοδοιπόρος» Το έργο αντλεί έμπνευση από τα αρχαία ζωόμορφα αγγεία και από τη διαχρονική σχέση ανθρώπου και ζώου. Δεν αναπαριστά ένα συγκεκριμένο ζώο, αλλά μια μορφή που συνοδεύει το ανθρώπινο σώμα στη σύγχρονη ζωή. Λειτουργώντας ταυτόχρονα ως γλυπτό, αγγείο και φορετό αντικείμενο, μεταφέρει μια αρχαία ιδέα στο παρόν, προτείνοντας έναν νέο τρόπο συνύπαρξης, όπου η καθημερινότητα αποκτά μια διακριτική τελετουργική διάσταση. Exhibit 8 “Companion” The work draws inspiration from ancient zoomorphic vessels and the enduring relationship between humans and animals. Rather than depicting a specific animal, it presents a form that accompanies the human body in contemporary life. Functioning as a sculpture, a vessel, and a wearable object, it brings an ancient idea into the present, suggesting a new way of coexistence in which everyday life takes on a subtle ritual dimension.   • Animal Rites Ομαδική έκθεση κεραμικής Έργο 6 «Αγρίμι» της @nisaki_mu κατά κόσμον Κορίνα Ντοερ Animal Rites Group ceramics exhibition Exhibit 6 “Agrimi” by @nisaki_mu aka Korina Doerr Throughout my practice, I have been deeply inspired by the zoomorphic symbols that appear on the ceramics of ancient civilizations—motifs that have survived through time and found their way into folk embroidery and traditional pottery. Birds, fish, and especially the wild goat have always fascinated me. The wild goat holds a special place in my work, as it is the iconic symbol of the island where I live. I have always believed that these ancient animal symbols carried a magical significance. They were more than decorative motifs; they embodied the qualities of the animals themselves, perhaps expressing humanity’s timeless desire to acquire their powers—the fish’s ability to breathe beneath the water, the bird’s freedom to fly, or the wild goat’s strength, agility, and resilience. For this exhibition, I chose the wild goat. I began with a silhouette reminiscent of those often found on ancient vessels and reinterpreted it into a more contemporary form, combined with geometric decoration that echoes both ancient and modern visual language. The piece is made from stoneware clay and decorated with underglaze pencils, coloured slip and gold luster.
